We just got home from the annual Christmas parade- it was a ton of fun- but holy cow it was cold! Our car said it was 42 degrees- but it felt more like the tundra to me!
Some of the boys' teachers dressed up like Christmas trees! They had 'present's' around their feet... too funny!
All bundled up... Kyle is enjoying his hot chocolate- can you tell?!
This was the Kid's Castle float- they had Hannah Montana singing, with her sidekick. I know nothing about this- partly because we don't have any girls in the house that listen to her. It was cute- and I am sure the kids loved her.
This was funny- there was a horse that stopped right in front of us. The trainer picked up some of the candy off of the ground- and actually fed the horse a lolly pop. You can see the stick coming out of his mouth! I guess she ran out of carrots!
This one was one of the boys' favorites- hmmm wonder why?? Kyle started screaming "All aboard.." and Zach was yelling "merry Christmas!" This was the train that the boys rode on at the local pumpkin patch.
At least one of them looks at the camera...
Zach could hardly believe Santa was there... and he waved and blew a kiss to him! He kept saying "I never seen him before... I seen SANTA mom... I never seen one of him before!" I didn't get a picture of him until he was past us, because I was waving like a crazy woman, yelling... "Oh my gosh, look who's at our parade!!"
We quickly left, and turned the heater up high in the van. I think my tush is starting to thaw out... and I think the boys are worn out... and will hopefully dream of Santa and flying candy canes tonight... all night.
Oh how fun!! Looks like such a good time! I can't believe SANTA was all the way down in California ! I hope he makes it back here in time for Carter to see him in the mall!! LOL
